What is the Process for Getting My Site Online?
We work closely with our clients to
build
a site that best showcases their products
and services. Once you have decided
upon
an azlDESiGN site, the first step to
work
on a graphical layout. Several samples
are
posted for review and comment. During
that
time, we provide you with a list of
information
we will need from you, including text/copy
about your products and services and
images.
After we determine a graphical layout
and
the additional information has been
provided,
typically your site will up and running
on
the web in about two weeks. Naturally,
the
sooner we get the information we need
for
the content of the site, the sooner
your
site will be live.
Will I Be Able to Change My Site?
Certain portions of your site will
be accessible
via our Real Time Content Management
System.
This is a password protected system
which
allows you to upload new information
as needed
to certain areas in your site. You
do not
need any specialized skills to use
this system.
It is as simple as filling out a form
and
clicking Submit.
Who Will Own My Domain Name?
If you do not currently have a domain
name
registered, we will register one for
you
as part of your site package. When
the domain
name is registered, we use YOUR information
as the owner. YOU will own your domain
name.
How Will the Search Engines Find My Site?
azlDESiGN makes extensive use of META
tag
Keywords to assist with search engine
placement.
There are a few pay-per-click services
which
can help maximize your exposure. The
best
resource is the Google AdWords program,
we
can assist you with setting this up
if you
opt to use it.
Be very cautious when using any sort
of search
engine placement company or service
other
than the one mentioned above or Yahoo's
Overture,
which is much more expensive than the
Google
program. Most of the other offers you
receive
are scams.
META tags are a very effective way
to start
with search engine placement. It will
typically
take between 45 and 60 days for your
site
to be picked up on a regular basis
on the
search engines.
What if I Need Help with My Site Afterwards?
We stand behind all of our sites. If
you
experience any problems or need assistance
using the tools provided, we will assist
you. Some sites come with monthly maintenance
packages which go beyond basic technical
support. Not every client needs this
package
and we will discuss that aspect with
you
during the Quote Process.
Will I have to Pay Extra for FLASH Animation
or Databases?
During our quote process, we discuss
your
products & services as well as
your goals
for the site. From there, we provide
a comprehensive
quote which includes any development
required
in order to best present your business.
We
don't quote based upon the number of
pages,
or development modules.... the quote
provided
is for the PROJECT.
